Danielle Allessio, Ph.D.

Dr. Danielle Allessio is a researcher and educator at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where she serves as an Adjunct Lecturer in Learning Media & Technology and a Research Associate at the College of Information and Computer Sciences. Dr. Allessio’s research focuses on the intersection of artificial intelligence, educational technology, and equity, with particular emphasis on intelligent tutoring systems, learner analytics, and culturally responsive design. Her work has been published in leading AI and education conferences and journals. She has extensive experience designing professional development programs for K-12 educators and has mentored numerous graduate and undergraduate students. Dr. Allessio is passionate about creating inclusive learning environments that support diverse learners.
