Dr. Sharon Edwards is a Lecturer in the Department of Teacher Education and Curriculum Studies (TECS) at the UMass Amherst College of Education. Her scholarship examines how educational technologies can advance equity and human flourishing, with particular attention to how AI mediates knowledge creation, pedagogical practice, and educational access across diverse cultural and institutional contexts. As a Fellow of Society & AI, she contributes to research examining society-centered approaches to technology in education.
